Position Title: Administrative Assistant

General Description of Position
The Administrative Assistant shall possess good organizational knowledge, skills and abilities to function in a professional manner and interact well with peers and customers.  The Administrative Assistant is expected to maintain a caring and empathetic attitude toward individuals in need.  The employee will strive to work as a member of Tri County Community Action team and will make every effort to work effectively with the entire staff to serve the needs of the community.
The position requires the candidate to hold a high school diploma or a GED, with a minimum of two year’s experience. The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and submit to a background check. Excellent communication skills (written and orally) are required and proficiency in Microsoft Office is strongly preferred. The position also requires that the candidate have excellent time management and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to multi-task.
